Public Housing Application Information

PUBLIC NOTICE

The Upland Housing Authority is currently accepting applications for 2, 3, 4, and 5 bedroom units. The waiting list for 1-bedroom units is full and no applications for 1-bedroom units are being accepted at this time. You may check this website periodically to find out if the 1-bedroom waiting list has opened.

Unit size is determined based on family size. Occupancy is two (2) persons per bedroom.

You will need Adobe Acrobat Reader installed on your computer to download and open the application form. If you do not have Adobe Acrobat Reader, you can download a free copy from their website. Click Here to visit the Adobe Acrobat website.

After printing and completing the application, please include four (4) mailing labels with your complete name and mailing address and return the completed application and labels either in person or by mail to the Upland Housing Authority. For driving directions, please see How to Reach UHA.

When you turn in your application to the Housing Authority you must include one (1) copy of each of the following documents for yourself and all individuals listed on your application (including children):

1)  Social Security Card
2)  Birth Certificate
3)  Current California Driver's License or I.D. Card (for all adults on the application)
4)  Residency Cards (if applicable)
5)  Self-addressed postage-paid return envelope (if you are returning the       application  by mail)

If you do not include the copies of all documents listed above for all persons listed on your application, your application will be rejected. If you are returning the application by mail, please remember to enclose a postage-paid return envelope. We will use the envelope to send you a receipt within ten (10) business days of your application. If you do not include the return envelope you will not receive a receipt.

Incomplete Applications Will Be Rejected

Applications may also be picked up in person at the UHA offices located at 1200 N. Campus Avenue, Upland, during regular business hours. Click here to view UHA's hours of operation.

If your application is added to our waiting list you will be mailed a receipt. It is your responsibility to keep this receipt, as it is your only proof that you have applied for the Public Housing program.
