Q: How can I apply for a position with the
Upland Housing Authority?
A: To apply, you will need to complete and submit a UHA
employment application form by the closing date for the
position. You may include a resume, cover letter, or other
relevant items if you have them. You may download the application form from this website
using one of the links above, or you may pick up an application
in person from the UHA offices during normal business hours.

Q: Can I submit my resume instead of an
application?
A: No. All applicants must submit a completed UHA employment application. You may
attach your resume or other items to the application if you wish.
Q: Can I submit my
application online?
A: No. You must submit your application in person, by mail,
or via facsimile.
Q: Can I apply for more than one position?
A: Yes. However, you must submit a separate employment application for
each position you wish to apply for.
Q: Will I have to complete a drug screening
or physical?
A: Yes. All applicants are required to pass a pre-employment
drug screening test and physical examination. The screening and
examination are paid for by the
Housing Authority.
Q: Does the Upland Housing Authority perform
criminal background checks for applicants?
A: Yes. All applicants are reviewed for criminal history.
Additionally, any applicant selected for the position must
provide documents establishing identity and eligibility to work
in the United States.
Q: What happens after I submit my
application?
A: UHA will contact only the
most qualified applicants for the position to schedule an
appointment for testing and/or interview. The process may
consist of any combination of oral, written, and performance
evaluations.
Q: Will the Upland Housing Authority keep my
application on file if I am not selected for the position I
apply for?
A: Yes. UHA maintains applications for previous openings for one year.
Prior applicants may be contacted in the
