Q: How can I apply for Public Housing?
A: At this time the Public Housing waiting list has more
families on the list than can be assisted in the near future.
UHA has closed the waiting list, and no applications will be
accepted until further notice. Please check this website
periodically for updated information about the Public Housing
waiting list.
Q: How can I check the status of my Public Housing or Section 8
application?
A: You may verify you are still on the waiting list either in
person or by telephone during business hours. You will need to
provide your Social Security Number. Staff cannot tell you what
number you are on the waiting list, only if you are still on it.
Q: Is the Upland Housing Authority accepting applications for
Section 8?
A: No. There are more families on the waiting list for
Section 8 than can be assisted in the near future. UHA has closed the waiting list, and no applications will be
accepted until further notice. Please check this website

waiting list.
Q: Does the Upland Housing Authority provide emergency
assistance?
A: No. The Upland Housing Authority is not funded to provide

Q: What is the Upland Housing Authority doing for victims of
Hurricane Katrina?
A: At this time UHA is only authorized to give priority to
victims who were already receiving Section 8 or Public Housing
assistance and were displaced as a result of Hurricane Katrina. |
