What Landlords Need to Know About the Violence Against Women Act The Violence Against Women Act (VAWA) has undergone recent changes which affect both victims and landlords. To help keep Section 8 landlords educated of those changes, UHA published a notice in February of 2007 with basic information about what is now required of landlords. UHA Is Updating Its Rent Comparables! In order to keep our rent comparables up-to-date, UHA periodically polls our participating Section 8 landlords to obtain updated rent amounts and amenity information.
