UPLAND HOUSING AUTHORITY IS NOW ISSUING PRE-APPLICATIONS FOR THE
SECTION 8 WAITING LIST.

THE SECTION 8 WAITING LIST WILL REMAIN OPEN UNTIL
FURTHER NOTICE. |
IMPORTANT: Pre-applications MUST be
returned by Mail. Pre-applications will be placed on the waiting
list based on the date they are received.
Pre-applications will be accepted until further notice. UHA will
give ten (10) days notice via this website and local newspapers
before closing the waiting list.
NOTE: Due to financial limitations, Upland Housing Authority
is not currently pulling from the waiting list or issuing any vouchers.
You may still complete and submit an application to have your
name placed on the waiting list.

You will need Adobe Acrobat Reader installed on your computer to
download and open the pre-application form. If you do not have Adobe
Acrobat Reader, you can download a free copy of the program from their website.

all instructions specified on the pre-application form.

Requesting
agencies may pick up a maximum of twenty-five (25)
pre-application packets at the UHA offices beginning
September 4, 2007. Instructions on how to return the
pre-application forms will be attached to the
pre-application packets.

PLEASE NOTE: |

All pre-applications must
be returned to Upland Housing Authority (UHA) via
U.S. Mail ONLY. No pre-applications will be accepted in
person.

As pre-applications are
received by UHA they will be stamped, dated, and
issued a waiting list number. Waiting list numbers
will be randomly assigned via a lottery of un-opened
pre-applications. Do not include your name or return
address on the envelope you mail your pre-application
in.

All pre-applications
received for any individual who has submitted
multiple pre-applications WILL BE REJECTED.

If any household
member is found to be on multiple pre-applications, ALL
PRE-APPLICATIONS with that individual listed as a
household member WILL BE REJECTED.

Incomplete pre-applications will be
rejected.

Applicant households must meet the
income limits for the Section 8 program. If the
total household income exceeds the Income Limit, the
pre-application will be denied.
