UHA No Longer Sees Clients Without An Appointment

Due to funding cuts, staffing levels at the Upland Housing Authority have been reduced. As a result, UHA will no longer be able to see visitors without an appointment.  However, UHA has updated many procedures to ensure that our clients continue to have access to our services.

You can use this website to access the information you need!  You can e-mail a UHA staff member, find the phone number and extension of the person you need to reach, download common forms, get directions to our office, and much more.  Click on any of the following links to go to that area.

Things to remember:

Clients will not be seen without an appointment.

Please be sure to  schedule an appointment with the person you need to speak with before visiting the UHA offices. You can schedule an appointment by phone, by e-mail, or by submitting a “Request For Appointment”.  Please visit our Staff Directory for a list of employee names, telephone numbers and e-mail addresses.

Paperwork can be mailed in or dropped off during business hours.

A drop-box is available in the UHA lobby. Please note: you will not be able to see your worker when dropping off paperwork unless you have an appointment.

Forms are available 24 hours a day on this website.

Visit our Forms page to download the forms you need.

Forms are also available in the client self-service area of the UHA lobby during regular  business hours.

UHA Headlines

The 2012 Annual Plan for the Housing Authority of the City of Upland is available for review.
The plan includes proposed revisions to the Housing Choice Voucher (Section 8) program Administrative Plan and the Public Housing Admissions and Continued Occupancy Policy (ACOP).  The Administrative Plan establishes the policies that govern UHA's Section 8 program.  The ACOP establishes the policies that govern UHA's Public Housing Program.  Both documents are supporting documents to UHA's Annual Plan.

Section 8 and Public Housing Waiting Lists Are Closed
The waiting lists for the Section 8 and Public Housing programs are now closed.  There are more families on the waiting lists than UHA will be able to assist in the near future, and no applications will be accepted until further notice.  Please check this website periodically for updated information about the Section 8 and Public Housing  waiting lists.

ALERT: MISLEADING WEBSITES
It has come to our attention that two websites exist that may be confused with the official HUD website. The websites offer fee-based services, such as assistance with applying for the Section 8 or Public Housing programs. These websites are not affiliated with HUD or UHA, although they may appear to be.
HUD and UHA will never ask you to pay for information or to apply for housing assistance. Always be sure that you are visiting the official websites for HUD and the Upland Housing Authority.
